the AiAV or AIRBORNE ASSAULT VEHICLE is designed to mechanized the airborne troops by providing a self propelled light armour vehicle fitted with revolutionary rotorcraft module capable of vertical take of and landing and compact enough to be transported by medium and large airlifter.
AiAV will revolutionized airborne assault by providing protection and transport for troops engaged in airborne assault from ground fire while at the same time packed with enough punch to give a fatal blow to the enemy, giving the airborne troops a cavalry of its own.
the hull were based on generic Light Assault Vehicle design with exception of 4x4 hydraulic wheelbase and the GE3500 VTOL rotor craft module while retaining most of the sensors, weapon suit and space for troops.
The GE3500 VTOL module is the main drive train for the AiAV airborne capabilities, producing 55000 pounds of thrust, with speed up to mach 0.10.
The AiAV are also agile, capable of moving troops on treacherous and rugger terrain which no other AFV can reach with the help of the GE3500 VTOL module.
Standard airborne configuration came with 10 seats for 10 troops with full combat gear, complete NBC protection suit, remote control weapon systems, FLIR and NVG, composite armour and IED resistant block, while special operation configuration will varies according to customer requirements.
There are also a lighter configurations fit for army air cavalry operating with helicopters to act as fire support vehicle for air cav troops.
