This so called DCNS corruption scandal touch both of France’s major parties. That ensures powerful protectors. ... no amount of NGO in this world will be able to even nudge that unless its a French Revolution.

None (NEVER EVER EVER EVER AS IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH EVER) of the corruption cases against DCNS have been concluded in French courts. The inability to plea bargain has something to do with it and no MALAYSIAN HALF ARSED DESPERATE POLITICIAN could change that in a million years.

So the appointment of the two investigating judges, Serge Tournaire and Roger Le Loire, follows more than two years of investigation. The two are known for previous investigations on national and international corruption matters. They have broader powers to investigate independently and can call witnesses and conduct international surveys.

Kuvala Tevengavu - MINDEF today announce the inception of the locally made electronic warfare Sukhoi variants licensed built by AIRUDE.

The new jet is the latest variants of Sukhoi fighter aircraft specially build for electronic warfare,ECM and ECCM similar to the E/A-18G Growler which uses the F/A-18E/F airframe.

MINDEF said that the jets had fullfilled RMAF requirement for an electronic warfare aircraft suited to work in lieu with the current Flanker fleet within RMAF.

Fitted with SATANIC (Seriously Advance Tactical Air Navigation Instrument and Control) electronic suits...a rotary 360 degrees radial scan MELIHAT advance early warning and control systems radar for air surveillance together with 6 L4H4-N47 jamming pods for electronic attacks roles.

The two wingtips missile launcher rail for R-27ER1 missile have been replaced with AN/ALQ-218 detection pods, 6 removable under wing mounted hard points (inboard pylons will carry 480 gal fuel tanks, mid-board pylons will carry AN/ALQ-99 High Band Jamming Pods, and outboard pylon reserved for KH-31P anti radiation missiles), 2 multi-mode conformal fuselage stations, 1 centerline fuselage removable hardpoint, for AN/ALQ-99 Low Band Jamming Pod.

The mixture of Western jamming devices and Russian weaponry really put headache to military observers..thinking on how did RMAF actually can fit em together and have it works while others had tried and fails.

The Flanker K is still capable of conducting air superiority roles similar to its Su-30MKM counterparts with possible weapon configurations and minor refit.

It is expected that the 21st Electronic Attack Sqn will operate the Flanker K which will be based at Gong Keda Air Force Base tomorrow.
