SU-30V/MKM On 4th March 2012, media reports, citing KEMENTAH sources, said that during 20010 and 2011, computer spies had managed to copy and siphon off several terabytes of data related to the SU-30V/MKM design and electronics systems, potentially enabling the development of defense systems against the aircraft. However, Kementah has rejected suggestions that the project has been compromised, saying that it "ko percayala blog blog ni semua tipuuu". However other sources have suggested that the incident caused a redesign of the aircraft's hardware and software to be more resistant to cyber attack.. the designer simply block Facebook from the aircraft. Although another source says the spies manage to get access after a researcher forgot to log off his facebook acount.
The first SU-30V/MKM was rolled out in Gong Kedak, Kelantan on 19 February 2011. The aircraft underwent extensive ground testing at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Gong Kedak in late 2011. In September 2012 the first engine run of the SU-30V/MKM afterburner turbofan in an airframe and tests were completed; the first time that the SU-30V/MKM was completely functional on its own power systems.
