Once Upon a time: Kisah Drama Insurgensi

In an effort to instill patriotism in the younger generation, the Armed Forces and the Information Ministry produced a history-based military television series similar to the movie Lt Adnan. The Insurgensi.

The 26-episode Drama Insurgensi, which is semi-fictional, are screened on Radio Televisyen Malaysia's TV1 , and it is directed by Aziz M. Osman.

It tells a story about the 2nd Platoon of B Company, (No 5 Platun adalah callsign dia). 8th Ranger Battalion exploits during the 2nd Armed Struggle (or popularly known as 2nd Emergency)

Its a shame that the series were stop from being aired because of some internal dispute between RTM and MAF. Anyway here are the Introduction montage of the series. I'm sorry i cant upload the whole 13 episode that was aired.

Panggilan Pertiwi Paint Ball UCIS

Off Topic of course.

Panggilan  Pertiwi UCIS team are basically a freaking paintball team... A bunch of civillian military enthusiast running around in the jungle, shooting each other with special military marker (LOL).

Some may recognize  these picture, so here we are. Anyway... our group have grown bigger and consequently come a need for a logo to represent us. So we designed a logo. The logo are so bad ass it cover up all of our noobness inside out. From now on we all look like a professional paintball player... LMAO.

....and last but not least my personal logo. This will make me invincible in battle.

It is basically a Malaysia Military Enthusiast Forum, most of us are civilian but there are huge number of the members are ex servicemen of the Malaysia Armed Forces Tri Service.... and some are even still in service in various unit. The discussion are in Malay language but feel free to use English, all members are brilliant and educated people (well minus the one that are not lol).

dont bother looking for MAF secret there, one of the mod are an ex Army Major (its true) who screened every post.

Malaysian Armour: PT-91M Pendekar at DSA 2010

Sitting menacingly in the middle of DEFTECH exhibition area in DSA 2010 are the PT-91M. Currently the army have full integrate  the PENDEKAR into the 3rd CAD battle network. It is rumored that a second brigade were underway and the number of MBT will increase. The type of MBT chosen were unknown, however.

The modernized main battle tank was designated PT-91 PENDEKAR. From base modification it differs in increased defense, fire control system and engine.

The modernized tank's increased weight led the developers to add a more powerful engine. It is a 12 cylinder diesel engine, a modernized version of the S-12U . The main improvement is the modernized fuel and air injection system. This caused a noticeable decrease in the tank's road endurance. The latest Twardy variants have the 2000hp S-2000 engine with a turbocharger.
