the PT-91E COOK3R with M4-S4KALAh microwave weapons en route to test area in Cameron Highland..free pak choy for local folks...were given after test courtesy of the weapon system...

by ikansadinmknorang the crazy el-kapitan....wahahahaa

Deftech scientists and engineers came out with mad idea of building tanks...but instead of using traditional smoothbore or rifled gun...Deftech came out with a crispy solution...high energy microwave weaponry..

The tank were speculated by media as PT-91E but the Army boys and their scientific counterparts call this baby C00K3R and its role are mainly for urban/jungle assymetrical warfare..with particular attention to decimate enemy infantry within buildings..jungle or vehicles..

C00K3R are fitted with a high energy microwave weapon code name M4-S4KLAh...with effective range up to 8km radius...capable of killing or frying enemy troops or destroying communications, electrical and electronic equipments in enemy vehicles...

test conducted on primate subjects suggested that in maximum range the brain, body fluid and blood inside the body will boiled up and exploded...while in close range up to 2km...subjects were unrecognized and looked more like dried fish or dried meat...

the effect of devastation also extend to the surrounding areas...igniting combustible material and turning the area into hell...literally...which a perfect weapon suitable for jungle warfare where it could burn a wide jungle area which is suspected harboring terrorists or guerillas...killing the enemy in a firestorm

tank crew and electronic equipment are protected from heavy bombardment of its own microwave energy through dense steel titanium-alloy ferrite material which reflects energy away from tank compartment...

test also shows that..smart weapons guided by sattelite or electro-optronic system fail to hit PT-91E inside 4km radius of microwave...making this tank invincible to latest ATGW...or stand off weapons

testing and evaluation continues to further improve the technology on M4-S4KLAh weapon system and its battle platform until the Army satisfied with its performance before inducing PT-91E C00K3R into service..

Malaysian Army new Combat Patrol Vehicle : The Land Rover 110 HCPU

The Land Rover 110 HCPU became the Malaysian Army new Combat Patrol Vehicle (CPV). The CPV had coiled-spring suspension, providing for a much more comfortable ride than its predecessors. CPVs had a wheelbase of 110 inches and were powered by A 3.5 ltr V8 diesel. With eight wheel, it can travers to any extreme surface.

DPVs had mounts for an array of weapons and were configured in a number of ways:

1 x Commander's GPMG
2 x Gunner 20mm Canon
1 x Gunner 75mm Canon
1 x Chin mounted 30mm Chain Gun
Dazzler Weapon
Milan wire-guided missile launcher mounted on the DPV roll bars

The weapons mounted to CPVs depended on the mission requirements and was limited by availability and the imagination of the wagon's crew. For instance, a DPV's driver might decide to mount a Minimi machine gun on his dashboard or the Milan wagon might have a GPMG fitted to cover the rear.

CPVs usually had their headlights and brake lights removed or disconnected to avoid accidental illumination at night. Smoke canister launchers were fitted to the front and rear of the wagons which could be fired to obscure the vehicle in event of a contact.

CPVs ccould be transported into combat by Nuri helicopters (1 at a time) and c130 Hercules transport planes (4 at a time).

Malaysia Army Nauseeshoot Integrated Air Mobile (MANIAM) Air Defence Artillery

MANIAM Air Defence Artillery (NATO reporting name MSA -50 Sammy) is a combined short to extreme range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery weapon system produced by Stride, Malaysia mounted on a tracked heavy mover. The system is a further development of MSA -30 Sundram.

A single MANIAM unit air defence consists of automatic quad anti-aircraft guns and surface-to-air-missiles with radar or optical target-tracking and radio-command guidance.

Although its purpose is protection of civil and military point and area targets, for motorised or mechanised troops up to regimental size or as defensive asset of higher ranking air defence systems like the Patriot its main purpose are simply to knock anything from bird to stealth bomber out of the sky.

Aerial targets include everything with a minimum radar-cross-section of 2 cm2 to 3 cm2 and speeds up to a maximum of 1300 metre/second within a maximum range of 20,000 metres and heights up to 15,000 metres – including all types of aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles and air-to-ground precision guided weapons. The system is claimed to be able to defend against stealth aircraft

MANIAM performed flawlessly during the brief but bloody Battle of Penang.

the world first quad-engine tilt-rotor aircraft - standard utility transport configuration

by ikansadinmknorang the nocturnal fish from Jurassic period that eat people ...

42 units of VH-57C Garuda were delivered to RMAF and PUTD yesterday at Sungai Besi Air Force Base in Kuala Lumpur where each military service will receive 21 aircraft each...

The Heavy Lift Tilt-Rotor Utility Aircraft were jointly built by Boeing-Sikorsky Vertical Solutions and were the first US made tilt-rotor aircraft to see service in Malaysian Armed Forces...

The Garuda is capable of carrying 65 troops or 4 IFV or 30 tonnes of military equipments and supplies in her spacious compartment or 25 tonnes of military equipment in underslung configurations...

Powered by 4 Rolls-Royce Allison T406/AE 1107C-Independence turboshafts..similar to NH-95V...her European tilt-rotor aircraft counterpart which already seen service with the RMAF and RMN...

The engine greatly increase the aircraft speed to 200 knots..with operating range up to 1400nm...

PUTD will receive an undisclosed number of Garuda with heavy transport-gunship configurations and special operations configuration solely to support air cavalry operations...mechanized troops deployment...and special operation unit insertion mission behind enemy lines...

meanwhile RMAF received standard military transport configuration and CSAR configurations...complete with night vision and IR capabilities for night operations...and will be attached to three new squadron...the No. 41 Sqn which will be deployed at Butterworth AFB...No. 42 Sqn at Kuantan AFB...and No.43 Sqn at Gong Kedak AFB...

The delivery will greatly enhanced PUTD air calvary capabilities and RMAF ultility transport and CSAR capabilities thus making both services the most flexible warfighting units in the region...

Gedabak 800mm Artillery of the Malaysian Army

Though the Perak-Banting highway has been shelved, at least for the time being, another major transport development is on track. The construction of a 329-km electrified twin-track railway line connecting Ipoh and Padang Besar is more than 20% complete. The US$ 3.3 billion project, which will link the states of Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis, is scheduled for completion at the beginning of 2013.

When operational, the new line will cut travelling time between Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh from five hours to two, and should also improve freight- handling capacity.

This Twin track were also designed to serve the giant Gedabak 800mm Artilleri of the Malaysian Army.

In 2001 the Malaysian Armed Forces commissioned MTRANC and SMEON to design a gun to destroy enemy hardened underground bunker. The gun's shells had to punch through twenty seven meters of reinforced concrete or one full meter of steel armour plate, from beyond the range of any enemy artillery. MTRANC engineer Dr. Ghau Ghau calculated that the task would require a weapon with a calibre of around 800 mm, firing a projectile weighing 7 tonnes from a barrel 30 meters long. As such, the weapon would have a weight of over 1000 tonnes.

The size and weight meant that to be at all movable it would need to be supported on twin sets of railway tracks. In which the electrified twin-track railway line were built for. In common with smaller railway guns, the only barrel movement on the mount would be elevation, traverse being managed by moving the weapon along a curved section of railway line.

The gun become operational in 2007 and were recorded to be able to fire its 7 tonnes projectile at 168 km.
