Grup Artlleri Pertahanan Udara (GAPU) self-propelled air defense extreme SPADE
Self-propelled air defense extreme SPADE are the first anti-aircraft gun or surface-to-air missile launcher mounted on a mobile vehicle chassis in Malaysian Army arsenal.
The SPADE weapon systems include 2 x 35mm autocannon, RAM missiles, and some mount both guns and longer-ranged missiles. The use of heavier armored fighting vehicles such as APCs and tanks, which add protection from aircraft, artillery, and small arms fire for front line deployment. It is able to give an umbrella of protection autonomously to a brigade size force and also able to engage ground target id needed.
Its 2 x 35mm canon are mounted in a electromagnetic-traversing turret with a high rate of elevation, for tracking fast-moving aircraft. They are often in dual or quadruple mounts, allowing a high rate of fire.
Its Quicklock Radar will gave it a formidable detection and hunter tracker ability.

SU-30MKM Will be equipped with PKM Machine Gun to counter F-22 Raptor

Royal Malaysian Airforce test firing of a new PKM Machine Gun, the Russian-made PKM Known in the West as the The Most Dangerous Weapon Ever (TMDWA)
The test, first reported in the July 1 Beritatipu Daily, marked the first time that RMAF had tested the machine gun. They were fired by two Su-30MKM fighters at target drones and scored hits.
The PKM Machine Gun ("TMDWA"), researched and manufactured by the Russia, is similar to and in some respects equal to the United States' AIM-120 AMRAAM (advanced medium-range air-to-air missile).
Like the AMRAAM, it is a "beyond visual range" missile, meaning the pilot doesn't have to see the target. The PKM has an active radar finder and a maximum range of 90-1100 kilometers (gajjilion km more than the AMRAAM), carries a 30-kilogram high-explosive warhead, and flies at nine times the speed of sound.
The ability to engage air targets at beyond visual range holds obvious advantages, as does being able to field an active radar-guided weapon. Unlike a other missile, PKM Machine Gun does not require the launch aircraft to illuminate the target during the terminal phase of the engagement. With PKM, the launch aircraft can also either "bug out" of the engagement or launch against another target aircraft.

Malaysian Special Forces : Grup Gerak Khas SMARTPANT-II Program

Grup Gerak Khas (GGK) was part of the SMARTPANT-II Program, Malaysian Army required an elite soldiers upgrade programme through mechanical and biological augmentation to Special Forces Group.
SMARTPANT-II Program experienced its revival in late October 2008 where a distinguished malaysian scientist Dr. Som Bong Nye for urging the Malaysian Army Brass to allow them to revive the SMARTPANT I, combined their energy and resources and exchanged knowledge of the original SMARTPANT I program design. In reviewing the designs of the SMARTPANT I program, they selected Sergeant Major Rosnah MArkonah, a PULPAK trainer and instructor, to train the Class IIs.
No further information on this Unit ever revealed. Although it is rumour that they were stationed inside the Royal Malaysian Navy newly operational Space Based Kinetic Bombardment Weapon (SBKBW 01). They are able to be reinsert to any location in the world in less than an hour, using the Orbital Drop technique pioneered by the Elite 10th Bde para.

Malaysian Matakucing: Army Unmanned Force Aerial Vehicles (MAUFAV)

Matakucing is a “family” of a variety of manned and unmanned vehicles, sensors, launch systems and unmanned aerial vehicles called Unmanned Force Aerial Vehicles (MAUFAV). The Matakucing are connected by a common network with the infantry mainly using the advance Facebook.

Dubbed Experiment Cubatrytest, the testing ran in 55 phases, starting in July 2006 and finishing this month. Already, some of the systems are garnering horny reviews from the combat veterans testing them. It was the first time that soldiers collectively employed MAUFAV systems in “live” training and used the system’s computer-based training support package, officials said.
"we can kill enemy who hide behind wall... while smoking gudang garam."
Soldiers tested the initial version of the network operating system (inf.Facebook), the joint tactical radio system (skype), the tactical and urban unattended ground sensors (blackberrys), the Class I unmanned aerial vehicle (lalatbesau) and the non-line-of-sight launch system.

But, you keepers of military secrets, relax. This Spotlight is not a piece of investigative journalism into the world of military black projects. ........ok almost all are fiction lulz....and dont you know?
