As Malaysian troops enter Penang Island together with Australian Army advisors to acquire a stockpile of nukes discovered washed ashore from a North Korean Ship sank off the shore of Penang. They eventually take the nukes with them, but not before the the DAP destroy one nuke stockpile and kill the Malaysian troops in the area.

In February 2009, DRB Hicom were contracted to supply 1000 PT-91MX3000 tanks with a system enhancement package (SEP) by 2012. The PT-91MX3000 SEP contains an embedded version of the Malaysia Army's Intergrated Kerendut command and control architecture; new Sapura commander's independent thermal viewer (CITV) with second-generation thermal imager; commander's display for digital colour terrain maps; CTRM second-generation GEN II TIS thermal imaging gunner's sight with increased range; driver's integrated display and thermal management system.

More upgrade on the turret included additional protection at the loader's gun station on the turret, the commander's gun station, reactive armor to protect the tank's side from attack by rocket-propelled grenades and slat armor to protect the tank's rear from the same weapon, and the tank/infantry telephone to allow infantry and armor Soldiers to work together in combat.

"Because of things we added to the turret in the SEP, the commander's station had lost the ability to shoot the .50-caliber machinegun while under armor," Harun Salim Bachik said. "Instead we are puting the ACV300 FTV turret on top of the existing turret to allow that weapon to be fired from inside the turret....aremd with 30mm vulcan gatling cannon"

Being a non-Malay and with the Govern­ment’s call to attract more non-Malays into the armed forces, I thought my chances were higher.

I am a degree holder in Business Manage­ment (Hons) from the University of Sunder­land in Britain, and all they could tell me is that I qualify but I will have to try again next year as they said they were not taking in anyone from my degree programme this year.

From my youth, it was my childhood dream to be in the Royal Malaysian Air Force. I’ve been preparing myself by training every day and keeping fit this past one year, but all they could tell me was that I am not qualified.

How am I to accept this answer? I’ve also written an official letter to the Biro Pengaduan Awam, but all they could say was that I don’t qualify because of my degree.

In line with our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s 1Malaysia concept, where all Malaysians are given equal opportunities to pursue their ambition in every sector in the country, I reckon this sector should also include the armed forces.

NO IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ARMED FORCES, IF ONE DONT QUALIFIED ONE CANT JOIN. PERIOD.

Why does the Government advertise in newspapers that non-Malays are not interested in joining the armed forces, whereas I as a non-Malay, who is interested in joining the military to serve my country, is not even given a chance to attend an interview?
