Grad keen to join armed forces AIR FORCE SAYS...SORRRY HAHAHA

FOR the past one year I have been trying to get into the Malaysian Armed Forces, particularly the Royal Malaysian Air Force, but all my applications under the Graduate Officer Programme have fallen on deaf ears at the Cawangan Tenaga Kerja, Bahagian Perkhid­matan Anggota, Kementerian Pertahanan.>

Being a non-Malay and with the Govern­ment’s call to attract more non-Malays into the armed forces, I thought my chances were higher.

I am a degree holder in Business Manage­ment (Hons) from the University of Sunder­land in Britain, and all they could tell me is that I qualify but I will have to try again next year as they said they were not taking in anyone from my degree programme this year.

THEY NEED SOMEONE WHO ARE MAJOR IN SCIENCE NOT BUSINESS.

I just cannot understand why there is so much bureaucracy in joining the military.

From my youth, it was my childhood dream to be in the Royal Malaysian Air Force. I’ve been preparing myself by training every day and keeping fit this past one year, but all they could tell me was that I am not qualified.

EVER SINCE IM IN MY DAD SCROTUM IT WAS MY DREAM TO BECOME A SWIMMER, SO I SWAM HARD RACING WITH OTHERS WHO LOOKS LIKE ME TOWARDS MY MOM EGG, I WON..... BUT UNTILL NOW I CANT SWIM.. LIFE A BITCH.

How am I to accept this answer? I’ve also written an official letter to the Biro Pengaduan Awam, but all they could say was that I don’t qualify because of my degree.

In line with our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s 1Malaysia concept, where all Malaysians are given equal opportunities to pursue their ambition in every sector in the country, I reckon this sector should also include the armed forces.

NO IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ARMED FORCES, IF ONE DONT QUALIFIED ONE CANT JOIN. PERIOD.

Why does the Government advertise in newspapers that non-Malays are not interested in joining the armed forces, whereas I as a non-Malay, who is interested in joining the military to serve my country, is not even given a chance to attend an interview?
