Malaysia Super Rapid Artillery Guns G-5000 (MSRAG)

THE army has bought military hardware worth M$977.36 million (US$257.2 million) from South Africa and Brazil, including 224 6x 155mm G-5000(MSRAG) medium-range artillery guns from the former.

The contract for the medium-range guns costing RM600.44 million was signed on Wednesday while the deal for the purchase of 5185 Brazilian-made Astros XVII multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) was signed on Friday.

The G-5000(MSRAG) 6x155mm medium-range artillery guns are capable of hitting a target up to 390km away.

Emphasising that the procurement are aimed at creating an arms race and to intimidate other countries, Shafier said it was to beat the crap out of our potential enemy.

"Other countries should be unduly worried of our big ass super gun as this exercise is part of an ongoing process to establish a credible force with sufficient deterrent power, it is definately for aggression.

"We feel that the time has come for us to become one big ass mutha with big gun, and this is what we are doing."

Secret military development, black project and special operation News. Not for the faint hearted. Given past revelations of previously top secret military technology programs there is a good chance that some 'black' projects somewhere tinker with advanced nanotechnology applications. But, you keepers of military secrets, relax. This Spotlight is not a piece of investigative journalism into the world of military black projects. ........ok almost all are fiction lulz....and dont you know?
